PreParanoia: Kenneth Nomeland

Kennet Nomeland works as a Radio System Architect in the Norwegian Defence Materiel Agency - CIS Division.

The Communication and Information Systems (CIS) Division helps ensure that the Norwegian Armed Forces have well-functioning, relevant and up-to-date CIS solutions, and has overall responsibility for CIS in Norway’s armed forces.

Nomeland´s department is responsible for the management and development of tactical and strategic radio systems, satellite, fibre, and network infrastructure. Nomeland has extensive experience in the telecom industry. He was working in Telia when they launched the worlds first 4G network in December 2009 and he is now coordinating military use of 5G for the Norwegian Defence.

During the NTNU CCIS and SIMULA MET Cyber Symposium at Paranoia, Kennet will give the talk: “Mobile Networks must work in peace, crisis and wartime”.
